Arrowwood Comments/Coop living:
My wife Lisa and I have been members of Arrowwood Hills since the summer of 1986. We moved here from a rural area in St. Clair County, Michigan. Before that we lived in Wisconsin and in Illinois. We came to Ann Arbor for the schools, and since we originally came from Chicago, we wanted to find a neighborhood where our boys could grow up in an economically and ethnically diverse community. We have seen great changes at Arrowwood Hills and we expect more great things to come. We are both committed co-op'ers; we've been involved in co-ops in one way or another since 1971.

Background:
I am currently finishing up my studies at Michigan State University, where I am studying how to help partnerships between communities and universities bridge the technology gap that often puts our children at a disadvantage. Before going back to school, I worked as a business systems analyst and as a marketing manager for an automotive components manufacturer. Lisa is an artist and teacher. Our sons are proud of neighbors and friends they consider part of their extended family. Our oldest son Josh was the first 2nd generation Arrowwood resident to serve on the Board of Directors. I am following in his footsteps. Dustin graduates from Eastern Michigan this spring (2008) and will be an elementary school teacher--in Michigan, we hope.

Hobbies/Interests: Anyone who knows me well knows that I listen to music almost all the time. What is less well known is that I love to cook. I hope to find more time (and money) to travel. I love to drive the back roads of this great country, and Lisa always has several cameras loaded & ready, so we make good travel partners.
